SG 287 1 1/2d Dull Reddish Purple & Green F M10 (-) Hendon listed shade in mint no gum condition.

Perfect stamp other than lack of reverse gum, slightly deeper green than generally noted with the scarce fluorescent head plate shade.

Scanned here over lying basic slate shade for attempted comparison which still fails to get anywhere near the true reddish shade it is. Teaches the lesson that worth putting them all under the UV lamp as in the flesh it gives no hint of its heritage. Price for single stamp only.
