SG 197 1/2d Vermilion K27 (2) I.R OFFICIAL O13 Overprint in very fine used condition with very attractive upright dated Salisbury CDS cancellation complementing.

A pretty common overprint and I have chosen to list and offer here as a great example to see and appreciate what they actually look like when the CDS is so clearly over the OVERPRINT as we all know that practically guarantees authenticity.

Equally these cheaper ones are standing a better chance of being genuine than all the fantasy 'sold as seen' listings at best that proliferate listings throughout the spectrum of sources from part time dealers to larger auction houses.

I am also sadly seeing many overprints with certification that are clearly wrong.

Would I pay more than a pound or two for a Board of Education overprint with a Dublin cancellation ?
