SG 294 5d Plum & Cobalt Blue F M30 (5) in very fine and fresh Unmounted Mint condition.

Have priced very keenly to reflect a slightly shorter perforation to left margin most of course overlook on this stamp that has normally a retail just under the three figure mark.

Like its 9d cousin the SG 308 this is one of the two values printed with the fluorescent 'purple' inks containing the eosin dyes that didn't actually go on to have any printings with the watered down GBF reacting inks.

Always worth checking though as, just because none have yet been recorded, doesn't mean that none were produced or exist.


Highly fluorescent head plate shade and though with experience it is one that can be picked out with reasonable certainty in the day light all should be checked under Long Wave UV for that essential 100% accuracy.
