SG 299 6d Dark Purple (GBF) M33 (6) in very fine used condition. Very lightly struck, unobtrusive dated yet anonymous CDS cancellation complementing.

The subdued Golden Brown Fluorescence at the opposite end of the spectrum than the initial Royal Purples and can only be seen, understood and appreciated by Long Wave UV inspection in totally dark conditions. ( one thing these short December days are good for ).

Passing on a bargain here as , like 95% of my GBF's, arrived unannounced in a nice selection of used Edward VII's.

I have said it so many times but every collector should have and use a long wave UV as so many dealers still do not have or use one, or if they do it's just a cursory swipe over in broad daylight and these are all missed !!

The M10 is so, so scarce with this GBF ink and reaction and find just one UM copy you are looking at close to £1,000 that even I would pay close to that.

UV light will cost around £20.
