SG 312 1/- Dark Green & Scarlet M47 (1) date cuts, positional marginal pair in Post Office fresh unmounted mint condition. Previous careful and prudent mounting to selvedge well clear of the stamps.


This pair from the first Somerset House printing Plate H2a Perf V1a and the only printing that produced this shade that is all too often incorrectly identified.

A far, far scarcer shade in comparison to SG 313 though another that has been supressed in price by the over supply of incorrectly identified 313's as 312's.
